Anthony Gowland

Tony Gowland is an experienced musician and performer and has played with a range of bands and genres including Jazz, Funk and pure Cabaret. He currently performs solo shows mostly, but drafts in a bass, sax, guitar and drums when it’s called for from his bank of good friends and professional musicians.

His current solo set has a nice balance of soul and romantic standards great for cocktail bars and restaurants. The set is also ideal for background music at weddings and functions. However, Tony also has the ability to lift his voice and play some deft rock/country/gospel tunes in tradition of Elton, Billy Joel, Joe Cocker and Ray Charles, moving effortlessly from a soulful love ballad to a rocking piano version of Stevie’s “Superstation”.
